This is where it all started, me at 12 years old in Central Park, New York City. You can see the famous Dakota building in the background. Even at 12, I was not only photographing but I was processing and printing my own black and white and color at home!
I was fortunate to attend the Dalton School and aside from being one of the best schools in the country, it also, at that time, had perhaps the best dance department in the country; this is where my love for dance was formed. Growing up in NYC afforded a great and broad opportunity to see the amazing dance of the time: Balanchine, Graham, Fosse, etc.
I went on to photograph fashion all over the world, including covers and editorials for Vogue Mexico and Vogue Espana. I have also directed nearly 700 commercials, also in the fashion/beauty sector, including spots on the Superbowl and a Giorgio Pefume commercial in the Museum of Modern Art, New York. Now I'm am in pre-production on a film called "HUSHED", about a 13 year old girl in NYC who discovers one of the great stories of humanitarianism but has to overcome her own issues to tell the great story.
